
Classic Deviled Eggs

A beloved classic, these deviled eggs make the perfect party appetizer and are simple enough to prepare whenever you crave something special.
Ingredients
12 Eggland's Best Hard-Cooked Peeled eggs
2/3 cup low fat Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons sweet paprika, for garnishing (optional)
Preparation
- Slice each hard-cooked egg lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Place yolks in a bowl and mash thoroughly with a fork. Mix in mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the yolk mixture to a resealable plastic bag. Cut a small corner off one end to create a piping bag.
- Pipe the yolk filling generously into each egg white half.
- If desired, dust the tops lightly with paprika for an elegant finishing touch.
- Refrigerate covered for at least 60 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
