Ingredients

8 pieces thick cut sourdough

1/2 cup cranberry sauce

1/4 cup mayo

1 Tbs whole grain mustard

8 slices sharp white cheddar

2 cups oven roasted turkey, shredded

Preparation

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl mix together mayo and mustard.
  3. Lay out the bread slices and evenly spread out the mayo mixture on 4 of the pieces. On the remaining 4 pieces spread a layer of cranberry sauce.
  4. Place a small handful of shredded turkey on top of the slices of bread with sauce and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with two slices of cheese and the other bread slice.
  5. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
  6. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Allow any excess egg mixture to drip off.
  7. Place the dipped sandwiches onto the skillet.
  8. Cook each side four about 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove the sandwiches from the heat and cool slightly before serving.
