Sweet Vanilla Cornbread Squares

Ingredients
1.5 cup all purpose flour
1.5 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick butter
1.5 cups buttermilk
3 Eggland's Best eggs, large
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl whisk together flour, yellow cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl whisk melted butter and sugar until incorporated.
- Add the eggs, (one egg at the time) to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and add vanilla extract.
- Grease a 9x13 inch pan and transfer the batter to your pan.
- Bake it for 35-45 min until golden brown.
