Make This Recipe

Ingredients

6 Eggland's Best eggs, large

2 cups whole milk

½ cup granulated sugar

1 TSP vanilla extract

½ loaf brioche style bread, diced

1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

1 cup fresh blueberries

1 cup fresh raspberries

1 pat of butter

Preparation

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  2. Lightly butter a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Place the bread cubes in the prepared baking dish and pour the egg mixture over them, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover with plastic wrap and allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for the best texture.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit just before baking.
  4. Remove the plastic wrap and arrange fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries over the soaked bread cubes.
  5. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until the dish is golden brown and firm.
  6. Slice and serve with a drizzle of maple syrup.
