Lemon, Honey & Fresh Basil Deviled Eggs
Lemon, honey, fresh basil and Eggland's Best egg yolks are blended together to create these bright and flavorful deviled eggs using local Virginia honey.

Ingredients
DEVILED EGGS:
- 6 Eggland’s Best eggs, hard-cooked
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon finely ground
black Pepper - pinch of finely ground sea salt
GARNISH:
- lemon zest
- finely ground sea salt
Preparation
DEVILED EGGS:
Cut each hard-cooked egg in half lengthwise and then place the yolk from each egg half into a food processor.
Add all of the other deviled egg ingredients to the food processor and blend for 1 minute or until smooth
Fill a large plastic bag with the egg filling, snip the tip off of the bag, and then pipe the filling into the well of each egg.
GARNISH:
Garnish each egg half with a light sprinkling of lemon zest and finely ground sea salt.
