Garlic Bourbon Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ large onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 pounds ground turkey, uncooked
- 2 Eggland’s Best Eggs (large)
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 32 oz. BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Hawaiian sweet rolls, for serving
Preparation
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add in the onion for a minute or two before adding the garlic. Cook until the onions begin to turn translucent.
In a medium mix, mix together the bread crumbs, ground turkey, and large eggs.
Add this mixture to the skillet and cook until the turkey is fully cooked.
Add the bourbon and cook down for a minute.
Then stir in the BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, parmesan, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and salt and pepper and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
