Ingredients
Frozen pre-made pie crust
4 Eggland’s Best eggs, large
1 cup sugar
2 TBSP melted unsalted butter
2 TBSP flour
1 TSP salt
1 TSP vanilla extract
1 TSP nutmeg
2 cups milk
Preparation
- Pre-bake the pie crust in 400-degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool and lower oven temperature to 325 degrees.
- In a large bowl prepare the filling. Whisk together the dry ingredients.
- Then whisk in the eggs, followed by the butter, milk and vanilla extract.
- Pour into pre-baked pie crust and bake for 1 hour.
- Let cool and set completely in the fridge until ready to serve.
