Easy Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients
4 cups of chicken stock
3 Eggland's Best eggs, large
½ tsp sesame oil
¾ tsp salt
⅛ tsp sugar
½ tsp turmeric
⅛ tsp MSG (optional)
3 tbsp cornstarch
⅓ cup water
¼ cup green onions (optional)
Preparation
- In a medium pot, add chicken stock. Heat on medium high heat for 2 minutes.
- Add sesame oil, salt, sugar, and MSG (optional).
- In a bowl, stir the water and cornstarch together until it becomes a slurry.
- Slowly add this slurry to the soup while continuously stirring. Cook for another 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, lightly beat the eggs.
- Slowly add the egg mix to the soup in a circular motion while continuously stirring.
- Cook for another 5 minutes. Garnish with green onions (optional). Enjoy!
