We're calling on all of you to help determine which recipe should be named “America’s Best Recipe,” and win the Grand Prize of $10,000 and a year’s supply of Eggland’s Best eggs. From now through December 4, visit www.americasbestrecipe.com and vote for your favorite recipe.

“At Eggland’s Best, we love to see how fans across the country use our eggs to enhance the taste and nutrition of their recipes,” said Charlie Lanktree, CEO of Eggland’s Best. “All of the finalists in the ‘America’s Best Recipe’ Contest used EB eggs in different ways to create some incredible, locally-inspired dishes.”

From ice cream to quiches and egg dishes with a creative twist, the “Best in Region” recipes include:

  • Northeast: Chanel L. (New York) – New York City Pretzel Everything Cheesecake
  • Southeast: Rita P. (Florida) – Bistro Shrimp & Rice Cake with Avocado Crema
  • Midwest: Jessica R. (Ohio) – Pierogi Kielbasa Quiche
  • Southwest: Kellie W. (Missouri) – World’s Fair Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Cones
  • West: Ben M. (California) – Ricotta Coddled Eggs with an Olive-Walnut Salsa

A panel of judges, including actress and mom of two Courtney Lopez, and Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, Dawn Jackson Blatner, will also help determine the Grand Prize Winner.

“I’m so excited to help select the Grand Prize Winner in the America’s Best Recipe Contest,” said Lopez. “I only use Eggland’s Best eggs at home because they taste fresher and better than ordinary eggs and add extra nutrition to every recipe!”

Compared to ordinary eggs, Eggland’s Best eggs contain six times more vitamin D, 25% less saturated fat, more than double the Omega-3s, ten times more vitamin E, and more than double the vitamin B12. The superior nutrition of Eggland’s Best is due to its proprietary all-vegetarian hen feed that contains healthy grains, canola oil and a wholesome supplement of rice bran, alfalfa, sea kelp and Vitamin E.

Eggland’s Best eggs have been the recipient of more than 100 awards and honors for the product’s superior taste, nutrition, freshness, and variety. For more information on Eggland’s Best eggs and delicious recipes, visit www.egglandsbest.com.
