Classic Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 12 Eggland's Best hard cooked eggs
  • 2/3 cup lowfat Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Paprika, for garnish (optional)

Preparation

Cut eggs in half lengthwise, and remove the yolks.  Mash yolks with a fork and add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. 

Put the yolk mixture into a plastic zip-top bag and snip the end off one corner.

Pipe the mixture into the whites.

Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.

Cover and chill for at least one hour.

I love your hard boiled eggs in the package...the are the best new item in a very long time!

This recipe would get a 5 with the addition of a little vinegar. I also use mayo, mustard, vinegar and a dash of sugar in my potato salad , pimento cheese, and slaw. Mix it together and taste until you find the right flavor for you.
